Introducing Duran, a self-taught American painter born in 1985. While initially working in Real Estate Finance at the young age of 17, Duran eventually followed her true passion – the arts. After attending the Fashion Institute of Design + Merchandising in Los Angeles, she specialized in Graphic Design through her major in Visual Communications. Seeking further experience, Duran took on assistant roles in Fashion Styling and Interior Design for a period of 5 years. In 2015, she embarked on a journey to Paris to study French at Sorbonne, where she serendipitously stumbled upon open uninstructed ateliers in the city, attending regularly. It was during this time that Duran discovered her innate talent and love for the arts. With a determination to refine her skills, she self-taught herself various artistic styles and mediums by meticulously replicating works of the old masters. Upon her return to California, Duran started showcasing her artwork on social media platforms and selling her pieces through various channels, marking the beginning of her successful career. Today, Duran resides and operates from the vibrant city of New York.
